This year has been a lot different than last in a lot of ways so heather and I tried to keep things as normal as possible. Last year we ventured down to the farmers daughter’s farm to cut down our own tree ( christmas tree hunting. ), it was a wonderful day that tried to duplicate again this year. It was slightly warmer than it was last year and it didn’t start snowing on our way home, but it was still a great time.
We searched the fields for the perfect tree and found one with a little friend hitchhiking in it!! After cutting it down and loading it onto the car we had some hot cider and cider doughnuts from the hard pressed cider company. In my opinion they have the best cider doughnuts in New England, and believe my I have tried them from many places throughout the region! Before heading back home we stopped at Tilly’s Cheesesteaks for some lunch, if you ever find your self in South Kingston do yourself a favor and stop here it’ll be worth it!
I think we have officially made ourselves a new tradition, one we will definitely share with the new addition to our family we are expecting this July!!
